I approach cooking with an emphasis on family recipes that are "EZ" to prepare and make. Cooking should not be hard nor needing a culinary degree-- skip the fancy stuff. Great food can be made at home for busy people!
I grew up on a farm in southwest North Dakota, my mom taught me the basics of great, hearty cooking-- soups, stews, hot dishes, and "meat and potatoes" cooking. Later on my wonderful wife taught me finer cooking techniques and widen my horizon for different spices, flavors, and new cuisines. I grew to enjoy creating my own dishes at home and for tailgating at football games.
I have been cooking for a long time, but I realized that doesn't mean that you need a ton of cooking experience to follow a simple recipe.
